1   mm Accuracy Laser Ranging at the Geodesy Centre ~ Graham Appleby

The UK’s Geodesy centre at Herstmonceux has a unique capability of measuring the distance to satellites many hundreds of kilometres above our heads to a fraction of a centimetre.  Graham will describe how this is done and how such accuracy and precision is achieved.
