Volcanism in the Solar System.~ Ronald Anderson

Many planets and moons in our solar system have evidence of past volcanic activity. Most of the volcanic features so far discovered formed many millions of years ago.

Only four bodies have confirmed active volcanic activity. These are Earth, Io, Triton and Enceladus. Evidence for possible activity has been observed on Mars, Venus, Pluto and Europa.

The talk will encompass these bodies and describe the different  volcanic mechanisms involved.
